Lead Java/J2EE Developer

As a Lead Java Developer at Phonon.io, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing enterprise communication solutions utilizing your expertise in Java/J2EE, microservices, and cloud technologies. Your responsibilities will include leading a team, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and driving technical excellence. Your role will involve application development, database management, VoIP system maintenance, Linux administration, AWS cloud computing, API development, scalability, performance optimization, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting support for backend and middleware applications. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software development with a focus on J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Boot, MySQL, and MongoDB. Hands-on experience with Asterisk and VoIP systems, strong Linux system administration and scripting skills, familiarity with AWS cloud services and API Gateway, and a proven track record of designing scalable applications are essential. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required. Your technical skills should include proficiency in J2EE, extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot, strong skills in MySQL and MongoDB, expertise in Asterisk and other VoIP technologies, proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting, experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and API Gateway, API development experience, and skills in designing high-performance, scalable applications.
