Job Description

Role Overview: As an Airborne System Software design and development specialist at Capgemini Engineering, you will be instrumental in enhancing and expanding the platform for various WAN technologies like ATG, ATG4, Ku, 2Ku, etc. Your primary focus will involve creating and maintaining scalable, modular, fault-tolerant, and adaptable software for the Intelsat Airborne Broadband System using Embedded Linux solutions on a designated platform. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and system test reviews - Collaborate with the Systems Engineering & Architecture teams to understand and address evolving project requirements - Engage with the Product Management team to comprehend the product roadmap and revenue generation strategies - Interact with the operations teams to identify and resolve operational challenges that impact business continuity Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in software design and development with a strong background in Embedded Linux solutions - Experience in working with WAN technologies like ATG, ATG4, Ku, 2Ku, etc. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Additional details of the company): Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a workforce of over 340,000 professionals across 50+ countries.
