Lead Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design and layout. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in using Altium Designer to create high-quality, high-speed PCB designs, manage component libraries, and optimize layouts for manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex PCBs for various applications, including high-speed, mixed-signal, and power electronics.

• Create, maintain, and manage component libraries in Altium Designer.

• Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power distribution, thermal performance, and manufacturability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, mechanical designers, and firmware developers, to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs.

• Generate detailed manufacturing documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Conduct design reviews to validate layouts and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

• Perform design simulations and analysis, such as impedance control and signal integrity testing.

• Support prototype development, testing, and debugging processes.

• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in PCB design and Altium Designer features.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of proven experience in PCB design using Altium Designer.

• Expertise in high-speed PCB design, including differential pair routing, impedance control, and multilayer designs.

• Proficiency in managing and maintaining Altium component libraries.

• Strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.

• Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC and EMC/EMI compliance.

• Familiarity with 3D integration and collaboration with mechanical design tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with power electronics and mixed-signal designs.

• Familiarity with schematic capture and system-level design processes.

• Knowledge of thermal management techniques and PCB manufacturing processes.

• Hands-on experience with testing and debugging PCB assemblies.
