Position Title: Video Editor Location: Bangalore Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a talented, creative, and tech-savvy Video Editor to join our media production team. The ideal candidate will combine strong storytelling skills, technical expertise, and creativity to deliver engaging, polished, and premium-quality video content for multiple platforms. This role involves editing raw footage, adding effects and motion graphics, integrating background music, and applying color grading to create content that aligns with the brands vision . Beyond traditional editing, we are looking for someone who can also leverage AI-driven tools to accelerate workflows, enhance creativity, and push the boundaries of modern video production. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing & Post-Production Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging, and story-driven video content. Trim and sequence clips, ensuring a smooth narrative flow. Add music, dialogues, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual elements to enrich content. Perform color grading and sound design for a cinematic finish. Collaboration & Creative Development Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to bring concepts to life. Collaborate with graphic designers and animators to integrate VFX, compositing, and 3D elements. Contribute fresh creative ideas and editing styles to enhance storytelling. Project Management Organize, catalog, and manage media assets efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of projects, balancing quality with deadlines. Maintain structured workflows, version control, and backups. Quality Control Review and refine edits to ensure accuracy and visual excellence. Ensure deliverables meet broadcast, web, and platform-specific standards. Continuously test and improve editing techniques for better audience engagement. AI Tools & Innovation Use AI-powered tools (e.g., Runway, FireCut, Descript, Pika, Sora, Topaz, or similar) to: Automate routine tasks like captions, rough cuts, and background removal. Experiment with AI for motion graphics, visual effects, video upscaling, and sound enhancement . Explore creative applications of Generative AI to push visual storytelling. Stay updated with emerging AI + video technology trends and suggest ways to integrate them into workflows. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or related field (preferred, not mandatory). Experience: Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong showreel/portfolio. Proficiency with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro , etc. Hands-on experience with AI-based editing tools is a strong plus. Skills: Strong understanding of video production and post-production processes . Creative storytelling ability with a sharp eye for detail. Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual composition. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with special effects, 3D, compositing, and motion graphics . Understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and file delivery standards. Knowledge of AI-driven workflows and eagerness to adopt new technologies.

You will be joining Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), a greenfield venture of the Tata Group specialized in manufacturing precision components. As a subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd., TEPL is at the forefront of establishing India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This cutting-edge facility is dedicated to producing chips for various applications including power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic to cater to the increasing demands in sectors such as automotive, computing, data storage, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around the integration of RF-CMOS and RF-SOI technologies, enhancing existing technologies by adding features like active devices and passives, and developing new technologies to enhance performance and expand application capabilities. You may also lead projects related to Wide Band Gap RF technologies, design and layout test chips for optimization, assessment, and SPICE model extraction. Moreover, you will be involved in end-to-end project management, from the initial project justification to final qualification and yield ramp, ensuring the achievement of desired performance, quality, yield, schedule, and cost targets. Collaboration with the Design enablement team and CAD partners to create a user-friendly PDK with a well-characterized toolbox will be essential. You will also engage with universities, research labs, and commercial entities to drive a world-class roadmap and build strong customer relationships based on TEPL's technical capabilities. Essential attributes for this role include the ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team, work independently with a drive to succeed, collaborate effectively across diverse teams globally, and exhibit leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization. To qualify for this position, you should hold an M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent, with a strong understanding of CMOS, SiGe BICMOS, RF power devices, and technology integration. Your expertise should include knowledge of RF technology parameters, competitive performance achievement, volume manufacturing delivery, integration feature impact assessment, basic circuit design and characterization, and familiarity with RF front end module trends and standards. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, a proven track record of developing new technologies for high-volume production, problem-solving skills using design of experiments and analytical tools, and a history of publications and patents. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams, work across cultures and geographies, and maintain an innovative and competitive mindset will be key to success in this role.,
