Lead Generation Executive

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) & Outcomes

1 Customer Database Development

  • Creating and updating database of target customers in the specified format
  • Research on each company and regularly updating the information into the database
  • Vertical / Department specific database of customers and stakeholders along with contact details and other relevant information, with regular updates

2 Customer Outreach

  • Connecting to target customers over email, messaging, phone, video conference, personal meetings, or any other channel
  • Explaining the company's products and how they benefit the customer o Number of customer connections per week for each channel e.g. X number of calls per week, Y number of emails per week

3 Lead Generation

  • Generating interest in target customers for company's products
  • Passing on the leads to the department head to be allocated to FSE for closure
  • Number of leads generated per week

4 Reporting

  • Maintaining and updating lead tracker with pipeline
  • Preparing weekly, monthly, & quarterly reports for lead gen activities & pipeline o Updated weekly report sent without fail on the last day of every week

5 Skill Development

  • Constantly learning new skills and updating existing ones
  • Both Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and soft skills to be updated o Improvement in SME skills
  • Improvement in soft skills

Mandatory skills Desirable skills

  • Market research, account research, compiling information from multiple sources o Teamwork and collaboration
  • Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills o Knowledge of end-to-end sales process including taking a lead to closure
  • In-depth knowledge of company products (after training)

Educational qualification:

  • Good in academics
  • A graduate from a reputed university / institution

Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in market research, lead generation and customer interface
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in working in a sales organization in role involving cold calling
  • Specific experience in the Retail industry will be an added advantage

Desirable experience:

  • Exposure to enzyme manufacturing, sales etc.
