Lead Gen AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead and mentor a team of Gen AI engineers and developers
• Define and execute the long-term product vision and technical roadmap for Gen AI solutions
• Drive innovation by identifying emerging AI trends and opportunities for product enhancement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Business stakeholders
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and technical excellence

Technical Development:

• Design and develop scalable Gen AI applications using LangGraph and LangChain frameworks
• Build and optimize AI agents, workflows, and orchestration systems
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and multi-agent systems
• Develop robust Python-based backend services and APIs with strong data validation using Pydantic
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and best practices across the team

Product & Innovation:

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge LLMs and AI models
• Drive proof-of-concepts and rapid prototyping initiatives
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure AI system performance and impact

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

• 6+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years in Gen AI/LLM applications
• Strong expertise in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph frameworks
• Proficiency in Pydantic for data validation and settings management
• Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration
• Experience with vector databases and embedding models
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Strong problem-solving and architectural design skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strategic thinking with ability to define long-term product vision

Good to Have:

• Frontend development skills in React.js
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Experience with customer workflow automation using AI (e.g., intelligent routing, automated customer support, process optimization)
• Experience building AI-powered automation solutions for business processes
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools and event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
• Experience with fine-tuning and model optimization
