Lead Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Lead, your role is crucial in guiding the frontend development team, setting engineering standards, and driving the development of scalable, high-performance user interfaces. Your strong hands-on experience with ReactJs/NextJs and TypeScript, exceptional leadership skills, and ability to align frontend efforts with product and business goals will be key in delivering a seamless user experience and leading a team of frontend engineers toward excellence. **Responsibilities:** - **Leadership & Management:** - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend developers. - Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and code quality standards. - Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and team meetings to ensure productivity and professional growth. - Collaborate with the CTO to translate product goals into actionable technical plans. - Allocate resources effectively and help prioritize development efforts based on business needs. - **Technical Execution:** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using ReactJs/NextJs with TypeScript. - Guide the implementation of low-level design solutions, ensuring optimized data flow and API integrations. - Ensure consistent implementation of frontend best practices, code reuse, and maintainability. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality. - Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces. - Lead efforts in frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. - Identify technical debt and champion continuous refactoring where necessary. - **Collaboration & Reporting:** - Serve as the primary frontend point of contact with the product, design, and backend teams. - Provide regular progress updates, timelines, and risk assessments to the CTO. - Collaborate on cross-functional project planning and estimation. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. - Expert proficiency in ReactJs/NextJs, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Strong understanding of component-driven development and modern frontend architecture. - Experience with RESTful APIs and state management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Redux). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about UX and technical trade-offs. - Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor developers. - Strong communication and project management skills. - Passion for clean code, scalable solutions, and user-centric design. **Bonus Skills:** - Experience with React Native. - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD). - Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and accessibility best practices. - Experience with design systems and component libraries. - Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.,
