Lead Frontend Developer

Role Overview: As a Frontend Tech Lead at Fortmindz, you will have a significant role in leading the UI/UX efforts and shaping the future of web applications. This onsite position in Kolkata provides you with a dynamic environment where you will lead initiatives and mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the frontend development of scalable web applications using React.js, HTML, CSS, and jQuery. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions. - Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code. - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues efficiently. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate best practices into the team's workflow. - Mentor junior developers and help build a strong frontend team culture. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of hands-on experience in frontend development. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Strong working knowledge of React.js and related ecosystem. - Experience in building responsive and cross-browser compatible web interfaces. - Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. - Solid knowledge of frontend build tools and version control systems like Git. - Strong leadership abilities and proven experience managing or mentoring teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
