Lead Frontend Developer

As a Front-end Developer at FreeCharge, your role involves leading, designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable code. You will be responsible for translating storyboards and use cases into functional applications, as well as reading wireframes to produce clean front-end code. In situations where UI wireframes are not provided, you will also be expected to come up with a basic UI design. Collaboration with back-end developers to integrate front-end code and performing analysis/debugging of UI / UX in production systems during troubleshooting/emergencies will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct cross-browser compatibility tests and generate compatibility reports. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code - Translate storyboards and use cases into functional applications - Read wireframes and produce clean front-end code; design a basic UI in the absence of UI wireframes - Coordinate with back-end developers for front-end code integration - Perform analysis/debugging of UI / UX in production systems during troubleshooting/emergencies - Conduct cross-browser compatibility tests and generate compatibility reports Qualifications Required: - Mandatory Skills: Reactjs, Nextjs, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Redux - 6+ years of software development experience with strong coding skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS - 4+ years of experience in React.js and Webpack - 3+ years of experience in Next JS - 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (LLD, HLD, Solid principles, design patterns, and scaling) of new and current systems with hands-on design experience - Strong experience in technically leading junior developers with a goal-oriented approach - Working experience with RESTful APIs - Good knowledge of Database technology (SQL and NoSQL) and React v18 - Strong understanding of native JavaScript, data structures, and algorithms for problem-solving - Good understanding of JS frameworks and MVC frameworks - Strong understanding of Node.js with a focus on performance improvement - Knowledge around SEO, PWA, Performance optimization, and Page speed optimization - Thorough understanding of State management tools like Redux and Redux Saga - Thorough understanding of CSS and SASS - Understanding of UI rendering on both desktop and mobile devices - Experience in writing test cases is a plus This job opportunity is with FreeCharge, where you will have the chance to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.,
