Lead Frontend Developer

As a Front-end Developer with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using React.js and related front-end technologies. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive and scalable solutions. Your key responsibilities will include writing clean, modular, and maintainable code using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS. You will also need to implement state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or other libraries. Additionally, your role will involve integrating APIs and managing client-side data handling and error states. You will be expected to optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Participation in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies will also be a part of your daily tasks. Ideally, you should have a solid understanding of JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and the React component lifecycle. Experience with TypeScript, MUI, and front-end build tools like Webpack, Vite, and Babel is required. Proficiency in RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility is also necessary. While not mandatory, exposure to unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Testing Library, or Selenium/Playwright is a plus. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance best practices, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, and UI/UX design sensitivity are desirable. This role offers a compensation range of $14.00/hr to $18.00/hr, with exact compensation varying based on skills, experience, and education.
