Description
As a Lead - Field Instrumentation (Turbine) at Adani Power Limited, your role is crucial in ensuring the operational integrity and reliability of control and instrumentation systems of a Turbine. Your responsibilities include: - Monitoring the availability and functionality of all Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems related to Turbine such as UPS, DCS, SWAS, CPU systems, Governing system, ETS, HPLP Bypass, Turbine, and Auxiliaries. - Conducting routine maintenance tasks for SWAS, Motor Operated Valves (MOV), Turbine, and Auxiliaries to prevent operational disruptions. - Executing timely overhauls of units to maintain optimal performance and reduce downtime. - Troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns promptly to ensure continuous operations. - Conducting scheduled calibrations of instrumentation and generating detailed reports on findings and adjustments. - Allocating necessary resources and guidance to contractor technicians for the execution of routine maintenance tasks. - Providing on-field support for Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Zero Forced Outage (ZFO) to enhance system reliability. - Implementing MoC (Management of Change) protocols to ensure safe and compliant modifications to equipment and processes. In terms of technical and process improvement, you will be responsible for: - Performing periodic backups of DCS, PLC, PSI, and other turbine and auxiliary systems to safeguard operational data. - Providing technical expertise and resources to contractor technicians for routine maintenance and system upgrades. - Following equipment checklists meticulously to maintain high standards of operation and maintenance. For inventory management and documentation, your duties will include: - Providing inputs to Team Leads for effective spares and inventory management, including the development of indigenous spares. - Managing the procurement process for equipment and services, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. - Managing documentation and as-built drawings for the section. Furthermore, in the realm of business sustainability, you will need to: - Implement and Follow IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department to maintain business continuity. - Adhere to the BPT process, technical audits, and compliance with safety regulations to ensure zero accidents and a safe working environment. - Report any unsafe conditions, acts, and near misses in the work area to prevent potential hazards. - Ensure compliance with safety audit observations and implement corrective actions as needed. - Utilize the work permit system guidelines to manage and control work-related risks effectively. - Ensure adherence to statutory compliances and regulations. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in C&I or Electronics & Communication. - 4+ years of experience in control and instrumentation within the power generation or related industry. Preferred Industry Experience: - Experience in power generation, or related process industries with a focus on control and instrumentation systems.
