Statement of Purpose: To plan, implement and maintain networks and ensure consistent performance maximizing uptime. Summary of Essential Job Functions: Network monitoring, maintenance, managing users access privileges and ensuring network security. Users and groups creation and management on networks across [24]7 networks. Attending incident and problems calls in the shift. Escalate the issue if not resolved to supervisor and update the daily task tracker/checklist. Minimum requirements (Education Qualification & Work Experience) Bachelors degree or Diploma in Engineering in any Branch Preferred (Computer Science /Electronics/Telecommunication) CCNA, CCNP and network/security tools or any relevant technical certification • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Competency Requirements: [Technical & Behavioral] Must have experience on network administration and knowledge networking, monitoring tools, backup, generating reports, strong in MS office, etc. Job Responsibilities Implementation and maintenance of networks as per organization requirement. Attending and troubleshooting any production and non-production related issues. • Assisting on any immediate production upgrade or ramp-up requirements Change request closures Creation of user ID’s as per the process Closing IT Service Desk tickets which will be assigned to the NSG team. Follow-up the vendors in case of any hardware failure in the network. Attend trainings Develop relevant knowledge and skills. Internal Job/Responsibilities transfer Internal Job transfer within technology team from any team is allowed Login credentials and password will be provided individually to the user who has been from any other respective team within technology. No direct access will be provided as domain admin or administrator, there will be a period to analyze the employee to know the complete setup and knowledge on networks. They will not disclose any user name and password Access to user name and password will be revoked by the previous team supervisor once the user has been transferred to NSG team. Performance Measures [Metrics for evaluating Job Holders] 1. No. of points scored for each assigned projects 2. Task tracking system record on a daily basis by individuals. 3. Production and non-production network uptime as per the SLA which is measured overall with the monitoring tool and IT Service Desk tickets. 4. Developments of Technical skill set to handle issue better & implement best practices to reduce incidents/problems.
