Selection of instruments & JBs
P&IDs
Instrument list
Instrument Data Sheets (ISA format) (must)
Instrument Loop Diagrams (must), CBD, JB Wiring diagrams.
Thermowell calculations
Instrument Datasheets, tagging lists, location & installation diagrams, Hook-ups drawings.
Permanent Thermocouple Arrangement Drawings
Field Instrumentation RFQ Package including vendor quotation reviews, technical evaluations, and vendor submittal reviews for adherence to project specifications.
Instrument Enclosure Design
NEMS & CEMS Systems Technical Specifications
IEC 61508 & 61511 Standards including SIL allocation, SIL verification, SIS design, risk assessments, etc.
Material Take-off (MTO) development including during the proposal phase to develop firm priced material offerings
Hazardous Area Classification Maps (ATEX, NEC, IECEx)
Electric Heat Tracing Design and Technical Specification development
TOOLS: Experience with at least one of the design tools; COMOS, SPI, Aveva, AutoCAD, is necessary. Experience with at least one of the engineering tools; INSTRUCAL, CONVAL, PSCAD, etc. is necessary
