Description
As a Lead Engineer specializing in AI, you will be responsible for driving the entire lifecycle of AI solutions, from requirement analysis to deployment and monitoring in production environments. Your expertise in Computer Vision will be crucial as you develop models for various applications such as object detection, recognition, tracking, OCR, and video analytics. Additionally, you will optimize models for real-time performance on GPU/edge devices and ensure robustness in challenging conditions. Your role will also involve working on Generative AI applications, integrating LLMs and multimodal AI for tasks like video summarization, natural language queries, and incident reporting. You will be expected to build practical workflows that combine Computer Vision and Generative AI, providing architectural guidance for AI pipelines, establishing coding standards, and mentoring junior engineers. In terms of team management, you will lead and mentor a team of 8-10 engineers, collaborating with product managers to translate business problems into AI solutions. Your focus on innovation and quality will involve staying updated with emerging tools in Computer Vision and Generative AI, ensuring scalability, cost optimization, and practical deployment. For this role, you are required to have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or a related field, with 5-10 years of experience in AI/ML and at least 2 years in a team lead role. Your technical expertise should include proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV for Computer Vision, as well as exposure to LLM-based solutions for Generative AI. Experience with deployment and MLOps practices, performance optimization, and strong programming skills in Python are essential.
