Job Description

We’re Hiring: Lead Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer – 14+ Years (Oil & Gas)
📍 Location: Chennai

Notice period: 60 days

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead E&I Designer to join our team for Oil & Gas EPC projects (onshore & offshore).
What You’ll Do:Lead and guide the E&I design team for major EPC projects.Prepare and review detailed design deliverables (SLDs, cable schedules, P&IDs, hookup drawings, layouts).Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, ISA, API, standards.Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other disciplines.Support vendor reviews, site surveys, and as-built documentation.What We’re Looking For:Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation.14+ years in E&I design, including 5+ years in a lead role.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant, SPI, ETAP.Strong knowledge of EPC project workflows (greenfield & brownfield).
