Job Role : Lead Electrical Site Execution Location : PUne Website : www.adaniconnex.com Qualification : BE Electrical Exp : 14-19 Years Job Description Experienced Electrical Project Lead for construction of Green Filed Data Centre construction projects. This position is responsible for delivering an end-to-end coordination for planning, installation, testing and commissioning of EHV / HV / LV Electrical systems involving highly coordination with other functions such as Civil, Mechanical, BMS and Automation data center engineering works at the project site. It is the duty of this position to ensure all aspects of the electrical project remain on track for set goals of time schedule, quality, Safety, cost and performance parameters. On-Site Project Administration Manage the entire program for Datacenter Low end and High end Electrical works, Installation, testing & commissioning and handover throughout lifetime of Data Center project. Work upfront to forecast work schedule, planning of Electrical installations, site level preparations and testing and commissioning plan. Study & review of Design intent, SLD, design drawings, 2D/3D models, schedule of works, shop drawings etc. Critically evaluate the cable schedule, load calculations, equipment specifications, testing and commissioning plans etc and provide feedback to design team. Supervise the onsite low end electrical works, participate in acceptance testing (site level / Factory level), evaluate the material submissions and quality & Safety plan before the work is initiated by the Contractors at site. Ensure best practices and quality work by contractors. Cost control and Certification of works completed at construction site. Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure contractor meets or exceeds the project delivery contractually and financially. Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis Ensure document control (track and coordinate addenda, bulletins, new drawing sets, clarifications, etc) process is in place Ensure QA/QC is being followed and report any issues/gaps Ensure tracking of all key project documents, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices and payments, lien releases, etc is being enforced Coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors working with supply chain and consultants Periodic evaluation of safe construction practices by PMC and other vendors Project Close Out / Fit-Up Initiate close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance with Document Control team, setting timelines and responsibilities Establish close out documentation requirements. Ensure receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc. Ensure punch list, substantial completion and final completion process through onsite Construction management team. Negotiate, resolve and close out any outstanding change orders, quality issues or disputes Project Management: Establishing overall project plan of Data Center projects, including time schedule, scope, risk analysis and resource estimates, etc Manage day-to-day work within project directly and act as support and coordinator with other functions. Effectively manage risks on short term and long term actions Coordination with design consultants Ensure structured review along with week over week S-Curves and project management tools Develop, implement and review key project metrics including project viability , quality, safety, project budgets, schedules, deliverables, risk mitigations, communications etc Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with all local and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project with Contractors/vendors, Design teams/Consultants, Other project discipline and local government authorities, etc Act as local escalation point for issues affecting the delivery of projects and facilitate resolution of issues where support outside of the project team is required. Experience: An experienced Electrical Engineer who will have previously worked for other principal contractors or tier 1 specialist in delivering EHV, MV, LV Electrical installations for critical facilities such as - MV , HV & LV Systems & Electrical Panels , GIS /AIS, DG Sets , Transformers , UPS , Battery , Cable, Lighting , LV Power Distribution, Bus duct, Switch Socket , Point Wiring, Earthing. - Understanding of Protections & Relay Settings. - Electrical infrastructure planning and scheduling of Electrical Installations, Commissioning and acceptance, documentation and statutory compliance and approvals. Knowledge of Data Center Electrical Project Execution Guidelines & Practices. Knowledge of Uptime & TIA 942 Practices Knowledge of local industry standards, building codes and safety standards is preferable.
