Lead DevOps(AWS) Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive our infrastructure automation, cloud operations, and deployment processes The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, containerization, and modern DevOps practices Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code * Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (EKS/ECS) * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment * Monitor cloud infrastructure costs and implement optimization strategies * Establish and maintain monitoring and observability solutions * Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes * Implement security best practices and compliance requirements * Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions Mandatory Technical Skills: * AWS Services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Route53, Cloud Watch * Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Cloud Formation * Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes with advanced orchestration knowledge * CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar * Version Control: Git * Scripting: Python, Bash * Container Orchestration: EKS, ECS * Monitoring Tools: Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar * Strong hands-on experience with Automation & Configuration Management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) * Deep understanding of security practices for cloud environments * Experience in designing highly available, fault-tolerant systems * Expertise in monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic, Splunk) Good to Have Skills: * Experience with AWS cost optimization tools and strategies * Lead and execute cloud migration projects * Knowledge of other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) * Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) * Knowledge of security tools and compliance frameworks * Database administration skills * Experience with microservices architecture deployment and scaling Required Qualities: * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and documentation abilities * Experience working in Agile environments with sprint planning and ceremonies * Ability to mentor junior team members * Strong focus on automation and process improvement Required Experience: * 4-7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles * Strong experience with AWS cloud platform and services * Proven track record in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines * Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies * Experience working in Agile environment with frequent deployments and iterative improvements Education: * bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field * Relevant AWS certifications are a plus * Agile/Scrum certifications are valued
