Frontend Architect

A Frontend Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance user interfaces that meet business and user needs They establish technical standards, frameworks, and best practices for frontend development while leading teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly web and mobile applications Key Responsibilities: * Define and implement the architecture for web and mobile frontend applications * Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools (eg, React, Angular, VueJS, Typescript) * Ensure frontend systems are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices * Design efficient state management and component structures * Guide the frontend development team by providing technical direction and mentoring * Enforce coding standards, code reviews, and quality assurance practices * Act as the technical point of contact for all frontend-related concerns * Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure designs are translated into functional user interfaces * Collaborate with backend teams to define APIs and integrate frontend with backend services * Engage with product owners and business stakeholders to align on technical requirements * Optimize frontend applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility * Ensure compatibility across a range of devices, browsers, and platforms * Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments * Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and trends * Evaluate and adopt new frameworks, libraries, and tools to improve development efficiency * Drive the adoption of modern practices like Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), server-side rendering (SSR), and micro-frontend architecture Required Skills: * Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vuejs) and related tools * Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) * Expertise in TypeScript, Webpack, and Babel * Experience in designing and implementing state management solutions (Redux, MobX, or Context API) * Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress) for unit and end-to-end testing * Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket integration * Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment strategies Experience: * bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field * 8+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role * Proven track record of delivering complex, high-traffic web applications
