Lead Developer

You will be part of Valtech Mobility, a strategic business unit dedicated to improving mobility by enhancing safety, intelligence, and enjoyment. As a technical expert in the global Connected Vehicle team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge connected vehicle technologies for renowned mobility providers and vehicle OEMs worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Take responsibility for the entire work process from design to implementation and operations - Build Java applications using Java 8 (and above), Spring Boot, and Hibernate - Design scalable microservice architecture - Implement design patterns proficiently - Work with web technologies like REST and Feign clients - Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach - Implement and operate Kubernetes-based deployments - Collaborate in agile teams using methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe - Invest in building domain knowledge and become a subject matter expert - Contribute to hands-on Platform Engineering tasks - Communicate effectively, have a good command of English, and work in a globally distributed team **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on experience in Java application development - Proficiency in Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate - Knowledge of scalable microservice architecture - Experience with design patterns and web technologies like REST - Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) - Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments - Previous work in agile teams with methodologies like Scrum - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team Valtech aims to create an equitable workplace that supports individuals from all backgrounds to thrive, grow, and achieve their goals.
