Lead developer

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications within the LivePerson platform. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to implement new features and enhance existing ones. You will be expected to write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to industry best practices, as well as integrate with third-party APIs and services to augment platform capabilities. Moreover, your duties will include participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge within the team, troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments, and staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development and conversational AI. Furthermore, you will work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases and effective test automation, in addition to contributing to the overall architecture and development strategy of the LivePerson platform. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. You must have proven experience in software development, with expertise in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar. A strong understanding of web technologies, including REST APIs, HTTP, and microservices architecture, is essential. Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or equivalent, and back-end frameworks like Spring Boot or Express.js is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, is preferred. Proficiency in working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and distributed systems is crucial. Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions are key attributes we seek in candidates. Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment are essential, as well as the ability to work in an agile setting and adapt to changing priorities. While not mandatory, experience with AI and NLP technologies, messaging platforms like SMS or chatbots, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, security best practices, and data privacy regulations are considered advantageous for this role.,
