Job Title: Data Science Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Data Science Specialist to join our dynamic

tech team in the ed-tech domain. You will be actively involved in developing foundational ML/DL

projects, mentoring learners, supporting their career journey, and shaping the next generation of

data scientists.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a tech-first environment and is excited about

working at the intersection of education, AI, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and deliver foundational and advanced ML/DL projects

● Handle instant query resolution and technical doubts via sessions or support channels

● Conduct live sessions, weekly assessments, and provide detailed project feedback

● Guide learners with assignments, career tips, and tech support

● Perform periodic learner evaluations and ensure quality learning outcomes

● Build strong rapport with learners and ensure a smooth, engaging learning experience

● Collaborate with the internal tech team to improve curriculum and learning tools

● Support learners with interview preparation strategies and real-world project

guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

● Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science/

Statistics (Master’s preferred)

● Strong coding skills in Python with exposure to real-world applications

● Solid foundation in Applied Statistics and core Data Science concepts

● Proficiency with SQL and data querying techniques

● Experience building and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models

● Hands-on experience with Generative AI projects (LLMs, Diffusion, etc.)

● Excellent communication and mentoring skills in English (mandatory)

● Bonus skills (good to have):

○ Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

○ Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps tools and workflows
