Lead Data Governance

The primary responsibility of the Lead Data Governance role is to oversee data accuracy and identify data gaps within critical data repositories such as the Data Lake, BIU Data warehouse, and Regulatory data marts. This includes developing control structures to ensure data quality and lineage, conceptualizing and reviewing Data Quality Functional and Technical Rules, and collaborating with various teams to address data gaps and ensure metadata management. Furthermore, the Lead Data Governance is tasked with performing detailed data profiling, developing guidelines for data handling, implementing data strategies, and designing solution blueprints to meet current and future business needs. The role also involves utilizing contemporary techniques and dynamic visual displays to present analytical insights effectively and fostering innovation in problem-solving. In addition to primary responsibilities, the Lead Data Governance role involves stakeholder management, creating data remediation projects, understanding business requirements, leading by example, developing a tableau reporting team, upskilling the team, and ensuring team productivity and quality deliverables. Key success metrics for this role include maintaining accurate and consistent data, conducting timely data quality checks, and ensuring no data quality issues in BIU Datamarts. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), along with a Master's degree such as Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Technology (M.Tech), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Additionally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance is required to excel in this role.,
