Job Description

As a Lead Consultant, AEM - Frontend Developer at Genpact, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and developing end-to-end Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing clean, scalable, and user-friendly AEM-based applications, translating UX/UI design concepts into AEM components, and leading a team of developers to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, accessibility experts, and content authors to create inclusive, compliant, and engaging digital experiences. Your role will involve developing and maintaining AEM applications using Java, Sling, OSGi, and HTL (Sightly) code, implementing headless AEM solutions, and integrating with external front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), conducting accessibility testing, and fixing accessibility defects to meet WCAG standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with technical, UX, and product teams to identify development requirements, conduct A/B testing and usability analysis, optimize front-end performance and accessibility, and work in an Agile/Scrum environment. Staying updated with AEM trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies will be crucial to enhancing functionality and user engagement. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.Tech/B.E/MCA or equivalent degree in a relevant field, proven experience in architecting and developing AEM-based applications, and proficiency in Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL (Sightly), and AEM Component Development. Strong understanding of front-end technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, cloud services like AWS and Azure, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Preferred qualifications include expertise in AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM Forms, AEM Workflows, AEM Dispatcher configurations, front-end development with AEM, CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub, cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, Docker, and conducting automated and manual accessibility testing. Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a focus on usability, inclusivity, and design consistency are essential for this role.
