Lead Commissioning Engineer – Turbine Valve Systems

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to oversee the complete execution of turbine valve servicing and commissioning activities. The role involves hands-on leadership in calibration, testing, and integration of TG Governing Valves, Stop Valves, and HP/LP Bypass Valves.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Lead and supervise servicing of servo actuators (cylinders, NRV, PRV, orifice, cut-off valves, filters)

•       Oversee stroke/travel calibration, zero/span setting of servo/moog valves

•       Perform LVDT adjustments and final calibration checks

•       Plot linearity and hysteresis curves for full-scale deflection

•       Coordinate with client/EIC for inspection and sign-off

•       Ensure safety compliance and documentation integrity

•       Guide technicians and instrumentation engineers during execution

Required Skills & Experience:

•       Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering

•       Minimum 8–10 years of experience in turbine valve commissioning

•       Strong knowledge of servo/moog valve calibration, LVDT setup, and hydraulic systems

•       Familiarity with Woodward/Siemens/ABB control systems (preferred)

•       Ability to interpret OEM manuals, QAPs, and calibration protocols

•       Excellent leadership, documentation, and client coordination skills

Additional Requirements:

•       Willingness to work on-site during AOH shutdown

•       Proficiency in pressure testing, data logging, and curve plotting

•       Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards
