Lead Assurance

Role Overview: As a Team Lead, Assurance at Syngene, your core purpose will be to lead assurance reviews, SOP review, IFC testing, leveraging data analytics to identify gaps and ensure timely resolution. You will collaborate with teams to strengthen processes, controls, and track corrective actions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assurance reviews in the form of process reviews or internal audits, depending on criticality and process maturity. This includes leading end-to-end process reviews, control evaluation, compliance checks, effectiveness analysis, and KPI/KRI assessments. - Deliver actionable outcomes such as process optimization, automation, cost-saving opportunities, KRI threshold revisions, and a feedback mechanism to enhance the audit calendar. - Update Risk & Control Matrix, lead IFC testing executed by a third party, and support statutory auditors during year-end testing. - Review SOPs and DOA to align with current processes. - Automate IFC controls and DOA approvals. Qualifications Required: - CA Qualified experienced in Internal auditing, Process enhancements, SOX / IFC experience. - Expertise in internal auditing, process enhancements, and SOX / IFC experience. - Strong team management capabilities, analytical skills, and ability to develop actionable recommendations. - Experience in working in a global business environment and understanding of global process and transaction flows. - Willingness to learn and adapt quickly, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and maintain confidentiality and integrity. - Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) About the Company: Syngene is an innovation-led contract research, development, and manufacturing organization offering integrated scientific services from early discovery to commercial supply.
