Role: Lead / Associate Manager HR Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional (6-8 years) to lead our HR Operations function. This role is central to building reliable processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing employee experience. You will work closely with internal teams and external consultants/vendors to deliver smooth HR operations in India and support global regions (UK, US, Japan, Australia).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations for India; coordinate with labour consultants/vendors across regions.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, BGV, attendance, leave, transfers, and exits.
  • Provide accurate and timely employee data to Payroll for processing.
  • Build and maintain HR processes, policies, and SOPs for consistency and scalability.
  • Manage HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy, workflow automation, system enhancements, and meaningful reporting.
  • Develop dashboards, trackers, and compliance/audit reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with HRBPs, business leaders, and cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Continuously improve HR policies and processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Success Measures

  • 100% compliance in audits and statutory checks.
  • Accurate data handover to Payroll and vendors.
  • Documented, standardized HR processes across regions.
  • High employee satisfaction with HR services.
  • Timely rollout of policies and process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of HR Operations experience, strong expertise in India; global exposure preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws; awareness of international compliance a plus.
  • Proven ability in building and operationalizing HR processes and policies.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and optimizing HRIS platforms (data accuracy, automation, enhancements, reporting).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced, process-driven environments with global or cross-border HR exposure will be a strong advantage.
