The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for leading software development projects, coding, and overseeing back-end web development. The role includes designing and implementing software solutions, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The Lead Software Engineer will also mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process. Qualifications Provide effective day-to-day line management and leadership for their reports Identify possible risks to the business, raise awareness of these, propose solutions and contribute to their resolution where possible. Participate in company management activities such as regular meetings with other managers and heads of functions. Scoping: work with the Head of Global Services and Product Owner to gather as much information as possible about upcoming work Timing: ensure that work quoted is completed by the agreed dates with internal and external clients There maybe times when the Team Lead interacts directly with Bigtincan clients Complete high level time estimations for project scoping The Team Lead is responsible for all code review in Global Services Complete regular check in sessions with team members around coding standards and code distribution Work with Head of Global Services and other Senior team members to complete work Ensure all project information is stored in the correct area in the correct format As a senior developer there maybe times when you are required to continue hands on development Carrying out career development activities Participating in the appraisal process Primary Skills: · React - Hands on experience around 3 years · REST integration/ calls - Hands on experience around 3 years · C#.NET - Hands on experience around 3 years · Python - Hands on experience around 3 years Secondary Skills: · PHP - Hands on experience around 1 year · GOLANG - Hands on experience around 1 year Overall experience: 8+ years in SaaS based product development.
