About the role YourStory seeks to onboard entrepreneurial folks excited about high-ownership roles in a fast-paced environment. In this role of Lead Analyst, you will be the custodian of all things data and will be working closely with various stakeholders within YS. You would own the entire data journey from building data warehouses, ensuring data sanctity, building reporting systems, providing the right insights and deep user understanding for content/business performance, social media analytics and product analytics while working with multiple stakeholders within YourStory which will help you grow learn. Key Responsibilities Cross-functional collaboration for Insights Data-Driven/Informed Growth Collaborate with key teams Product, Tech, Editorial, Sales, Operations, Social Media Marketing and Growth to deliver data-driven insights that optimize content performance, improve user experience and foster business growth. Social Media Analytics Explore social media metrics to uncover trends, measure ROI, and identify growth opportunities to craft data-driven strategies for enhancing digital presence. Proficiency in Advanced Analytical Tools Leverage tools like BigQuery, GCP, Redash, AWS, Piano and Google Analytics to gather and interpret data, with a focus on continuously improving core metrics such as DAU, MAU, retention, digital presence and user engagement. Data Custodianship Actionable Insights Serve as the central resource for synthesizing complex data into actionable goals, ensuring data quality and insights support the success of YourStorys products. Ensure Data Integrity Structure Coordinate with the tech team to build robust and centralized structured databases, ensuring all data is captured and organized for product launches while maintaining high data quality standards. Revenue Operations and Sales Analytics Oversees the analysts work for both revenue ops and sales analytics - Responsible for weekly and quarterly forecasts for revenue from sales teams. On an annual basis, helps plans territories for sales teams and provide actionable insights on SKU performance What are we looking for Experience : 2-4 years work experience in the data analytics domain. Technical Skills : Proficiency in using SQL data wrangling from databases like BigQuery, AWS etc. Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and structured logical thinking abilities. Software/Platform Proficiency : Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI and analytics/data platforms such as Google Analytics, Piano Suite.
