Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team, data analysts providing direction, mentorship, and project oversight.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Hands on experience in AI and ML tools.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize advanced analytics, statistical models, and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Create and maintain robust data models and dashboards to provide accurate, reliable metrics and KPIs that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to transform complex data sets into compelling and easily understandable reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive end-to-end project execution, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and delivery of actionable insights.
  • Ensure data integrity and validation across all analyses and projects.
  • Leverage SQL and Python to perform data wrangling, complex analysis, and build predictive models.
  • Utilize your strong understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning to design and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest advanced analytics methodologies and tools, applying them to improve processes and strategies.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful and timely delivery of insights.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, preferably in high-paced, fast-growing organizations.
  • Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or any other quantitative field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and building data models and ML models.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Proven experience in data modeling and visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Power BI) to build dashboards and reports that inform decision-making.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and common machine learning algorithms.
  • Real-World Deployment: Experience developing and successfully deploying analytical and machine learning solutions in real-world settings.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing mid-sized teams (4-5 members) and overseeing multiple projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work closely with business and product stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
  • B2C Experience (Preferred): Experience in a B2C eCommerce and Product Analytics is preferred.
  • Advanced Degree (Preferred): A Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is a plus.
