Role Overview: As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, at Evalueserve, you will work with a team specializing in global market research and collaborating with top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. You will cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks by supporting their product and sector teams in deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects. Key Responsibilities: - Track specific securities and conduct detailed analysis covering all relevant aspects affecting securities - Create and maintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecasts - Conduct extensive company valuations using approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA - Benchmark companies using financial and operating statistics - Prepare various reports including company profiles, earnings and flash notes, sector reports, newsletters, etc. - Support onshore analysts with time-sensitive earnings updates - Monitor news, events, and results of covered companies - Track regulatory trends impacting the industry - Collect information from industry or sector databases - Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing activities - Summarize investment conference calls - Handle ad hoc research requests Qualifications Required: - MBA / CA with 5+ years of relevant experience in equity research (sell side) - CFA Level 1, 2, or 3 (pursuing or completed) will be an added advantage - Strong understanding of accounting concepts and valuation methodologies - Expertise in building financial models with forecasting - Good financial writing skills - Ability to build client rapport and work in sync with onshore teams - Ability to work independently with an eye for detail - Proactiveness and thought leadership - Knowledge of databases like Bloomberg, FactSet, and other financial data systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel - Knowledge of VBA will be an advantage Additional Company Details: Evalueserve emphasizes the accuracy and authenticity of the information provided by candidates, as it is crucial for the candidacy and plays a key role in the BGV process.
