Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Merkle, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical guidance and suggest improvements in development processes. You will play a crucial role in developing required software features while ensuring timely delivery in compliance with the company's performance and quality standards. You are expected to participate in the entire software development cycle, from requirements analysis to design, development, unit testing, and documentation. Your proactive approach in identifying security, usability, and other issues will be essential in formulating effective strategies to resolve them. Working independently, you will have a broader overview of the project, taking ownership of the delivery of complex application features and resolving key technical issues related to the assigned project. Additionally, you will be responsible for complying with the estimation process, delivering trainings, participating in knowledge sharing, mentoring new software engineers, integrating new technologies, and understanding and following the release processes within the company. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the entire software development cycle, including requirements analysis, design and development, unit testing, and documentation - Ensure long-term code reusability and stability - Proactively identify security, usability, and other issues and develop strategies to resolve them - Work independently with a broader overview of the project - Take ownership for the delivery of complex application features and resolve key technical issues - Comply with the estimation process and provide accurate personal estimates - Deliver trainings and participate in knowledge sharing - Mentor new software engineers in the team - Integrate new technologies - Understand and follow the release processes within the company Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Proven experience in software development and delivery - Strong knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment (Note: Location - DGS India, Pune, Kharadi EON Free Zone; Brand - Merkle; Time Type - Full time; Contract Type - Permanent),
