Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Merkle, your role involves providing technical guidance and suggesting improvements in development processes. You will be responsible for developing required software features and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with the company's performance and quality standards. You will actively participate in the entire software development cycle, from requirements analysis to documentation, and work independently with a broader overview of the project. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the entire software development cycle, including requirements analysis, design and development, unit testing, and documentation - Ensure long-term code reusability and stability - Proactively identify security, usability, and other issues, and formulate strategies to resolve them - Work independently with a broader project overview - Take ownership for delivering complex application features and resolve key technical issues - Comply with estimation process and provide accurate personal estimates - Deliver trainings and participate in knowledge sharing - Mentor new software engineers in the team - Integrate new technologies - Understand and follow release processes within the company Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - At least X years of experience in software development - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, etc. - Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices Note: The location for this role is at DGS India - Pune - Kharadi EON Free Zone under the brand Merkle.
