Role Description

The LDR (Labor, Delivery, Recovery) In-Charge at Matria Hospital will oversee the overall management and coordination of the LDR unit. This includes supervising the nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, facilitating smooth patient care, and handling administrative and operational tasks within the department. The role also involves ensuring the highest standard of patient safety and comfort is maintained throughout the labor and delivery process. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kozhikode.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage the LDR unit and nursing staff effectively.
• Knowledge of clinical protocols, labor, delivery, and recovery care practices, along with the ability to ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for managing complex cases and operational challenges.
• Prior experience in labor and delivery nursing, along with a valid nursing license or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field; advanced certifications in obstetrics or neonatal care are a plus.
