Laundry Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1. Handling the Laundry Operations.
2. Monitor washing, ironing, packaging and dispatch of soiled and fresh linen.

3. Ensure all staff uniforms/ linen, table cloths of restaurant are in intact position and ready to use.

4. Maintain records of sorting clean uniform from laundry and arrange them properly on the shelves and racks.

5. Co-ordination with tailor for taking uniform measurements of new employees.

6. Maintaining a record of uniforms, shoes, belts issued to all the employees and ordering the uniforms to be stitched for new employees.

7. Updating the laundry productivity report on a daily basis.

8. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the Laundry mate.

9. Assisting the housekeeping department in equipment, and chemical purchasing for budget preparation.

10. Coordinating and follow up with the engineering department for any maintenance issues in laundry equipment.

11. Scheduling duties to laundry staff as per requirement.

12. Maintenance of Staff quarters provided by the company for Male staff.

Preferred candidate profile

Aged around 25-35 years, capable in handling linen, laundry operations and maintaining the stock register. An experience of 5 years and above in a reputed star hotel/club/resort/restaurant is must. Should be computer savvy and well versed with MS Office, Email communication Skills.
