Job Description

Land Analyst - US Title & Asset Operations

  • Enter and maintain accurate title, lease, and ownership information in internal databases
  • Analyze and validate division orders issued by operators, ensuring correct NRI (Net Revenue Interest) calculations
  • Support post-close ingestion of asset data from external sellers, ensuring all metadata and supporting documentation are properly logged and categorized
  • Maintain comprehensive records for acquisitions, divestitures, and asset updates across land portfolios

Land Administration & Division Orders

  • Coordinate with US land managers, operators, and attorneys to process and track division orders, lease amendments, and ownership transfers
  • Extract and interpret tax roll data to estimate ownership metrics on a deal-by-deal basis
  • Ensure accurate reflection of ownership and legal documentation across all systems of record

Process Management & Initiative Ownership

  • Identify and implement operational improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements
  • Lead or support internal projects related to data standardization, asset onboarding, and system integrity
  • Build process documentation and help establish best practices for scalable land administration support

Reporting & Cross-functional Coordination

  • Prepare and maintain reporting dashboards to track land workflows, document status, and asset history
  • Monitor deal flow updates and maintain real-time tracking across platforms (email, Slack, CRM, etc.)
  • Respond to requests from US-based teams, operators, and internal business stakeholders in a timely and professional manner

Required Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of experience in land administration, title operations, real estate data management, or related domains
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Land Management, Real Estate, Finance, or related field
  • Strong experience working with US property/title documentation, especially oil & gas leases, division orders, and ownership verification
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must-have) for managing and analyzing ownership data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort interfacing directly with US-based stakeholders
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be based in Bangalore, able to work fro"m the office 5 days a week and maintain US business hour overlap

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with division order processes, NRI calculations, or mineral/royalty interests
  • Experience working with data from tax rolls, title plants, or U.S. public records
  • Skills in SQL, VBA, Power BI, or reporting/dash boarding tools
  • Experience leading or contributing to process improvement or automation initiatives
  • Prior work experience with a U.S.-based title company, land services provider, or oil & gas operator
