Full-time Job Profile:
- Lead software development for complex Data Acquisition and Automation projects
- Design and architect scalable LabVIEW applications following industry best practices
- Integration and interfacing with third-party hardware and software systems at client sites
- Mentor and guide junior developers in LabVIEW programming and best practices
- Conduct technical training sessions for clients engineering teams
- Oversee installation, erection, and commissioning of hardware systems at client locations
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of LabVIEW code adhering to industry standards
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical consultation
- Travel domestically as project requirements demand
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated LabVIEW applications
- Architect and implement robust software solutions for data acquisition and control systems
- Develop, implement, test, and maintain complex APIs and system integrations
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Diagnose and resolve critical software and hardware integration issues
- Optimize application performance and implement efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, project managers, and clients
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
- Provide technical leadership in project planning and execution
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for quality assurance
- Create technical documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and solution design
Desired Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
Essential Requirements:
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW development
- Strong proficiency in LabVIEW programming with demonstrable project experience
- In-depth knowledge of Data Acquisition systems, Instrumentation, and Automation technologies
- Experience with National Instruments hardware platforms (DAQ devices, CompactRIO, PXI systems, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Digital and Analog Electronics
- Experience with TestStand, DIAdem, or other NI software tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, LIN, TCP/IP, Serial, OPC, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and collaborative development practices
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in object-oriented design patterns and software architecture principles
- Experience with real-time and FPGA programming (advantage)
- Proficiency in SQL databases and data management
- Understanding of signal processing and analysis techniques
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
- Client-facing experience with ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Willingness to travel and work at client sites as required
- Team player with mentorship capabilities
- Comfortable with Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as the primary job location
Qualifications Required:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in LabVIEW development
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivered projects
- Portfolio of developed applications and systems (desirable)
