WearCheck India is a specialized used oil analysis laboratory based in Chennai. We provide conditional monitoring through used oil analysis to enhance the performance and longevity of machinery and equipment.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Laboratory Chemist. The Laboratory Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis on used oil samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing quality control checks, and ensuring accurate calibration of instruments. Daily tasks include preparing samples, analyzing data, maintaining lab records, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills for chemical analysis and data interpretation
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and laboratory skills
• Experience in quality control and calibration
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant experience in an industrial laboratory is a plus
• Candidate must have knowledge in Lubricant Analysis
• Freshers are also welcome
