Labor Supervisor

Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Labor Supervisor to manage and supervise our team working in the pipes, fittings, and flanges manufacturing/warehouse/yard. The Labor Supervisor will ensure that all material handling, loading/unloading, packing, dispatch, and related tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of laborers involved in handling pipes, fittings, flanges, and related products.
• Plan and allocate work such as loading/unloading trucks, organizing stock, packing, and moving materials.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of heavy pipes and fittings as per safety standards.
• Monitor work quality and productivity, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Enforce company safety rules and use of PPE (helmets, gloves, etc.).
• Maintain basic stock records and report daily work progress to the site/warehouse manager.
• Coordinate with transporters, forklift operators, and other team members for smooth operations.
• Resolve any labor-related issues on the ground promptly.

Required Skills:

• Good team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate instructions clearly to laborers.
• Knowledge of safe handling of heavy metal/steel pipes and fittings.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse or yard operations.
• Ability to keep simple records and report to supervisors.
• Physically fit and ready to work in outdoor/yard conditions.

✅ Qualification & Experience:

• Preferred: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Related trade .
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in supervising laborers in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics yard — preferably in pipes, fittings, flanges, or steel products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
