Job Description

  • Collect blood, urine, and other samples from patients following safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments like centrifuges, microscopes, and analyzers.
  • Record and report results accurately and in a timely manner to the concerned physician or department.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of samples and biohazard materials.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
  • Keep inventory of lab supplies and coordinate with purchase/stock departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the lab environment at all times.

  • Diploma or B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in a clinical laboratory (Freshers may be considered based on merit).
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling samples and reporting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
