Lab Manager- Embryology

Responsibilities: Prepare paperwork and entries for the next day procedures. Perform the following as per SOP Follicular screening during OPU. Oocyte denudation. Oocyte vitrification after proper validation. Embryo vitrification & thawing. Fertilization assessment, Embryo assessment and grading & Embryo transfer. Embryo biopsy and tubing after proper validation. Verify the identity of the patients and maintain the traceability of the samples through the use of electronic systems or double manual witness otherwise. Coordinate the management of donor semen samples with the center (center manager and LM) and the ART bank. Prepare the chart, obtain all information about the sample & ensure it is received prior to the OPU. Enter and verify of all the data physical & electronic (EMR software) Issue patient reports in time and form. Maintain correct embryo/oocyte storage tanks conditions (space available for samples, liquid nitrogen level and structural integrity) Maintain correct lab conditions (cleaning, layout and arrangement of equipment) Show more Show less
