Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our team at Legacy School Bangalore LSB. The ideal candidate will have excellent laboratory skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the lab technician with setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and results.
Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers and chromatography systems.
Conduct experiments and collect data under the guidance of the senior scientist or engineer.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols, including safety procedures and quality control measures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Familiarity with laboratory software and instrumentation, such as data analysis and record-keeping systems.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
