Job Description

We are seeking technically proficient Lab Assistants to support Programming and Systems laboratories. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in C programming, system setup, and basic troubleshooting, along with the ability to assist faculty and students during lab sessions.

Role & responsibilities

Three Positions

Requirement

Hands-on experience compiling and running C programs using GCC
Knowledge of MS Excel for maintaining lab records and data formatting
System setup, OS installation, hardware troubleshooting
Basic scripting knowledge
Assisting faculty during lab sessions and managing lab equipment

Two Positions

Requirement

Basic understanding of OSI/TCP-IP layers
Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and simple network setups
Ability to configure and troubleshoot basic switches and routers
Experience in setting up LAN connections, Wi-Fi networks, and ensuring lab connectivity
Ability to use simple tools like ping, traceroute

and Wireshark (basic use)
Knowledge of MS Excel for maintaining lab records and data formatting
Support for Networking Lab experiments, equipment setup, and assisting students

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field
Basic understanding of OSI and TCP/IP layers
Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and network configuration
Ability to handle basic networking hardware
Familiarity with diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, Wireshark basic use)
Proficiency in MS Excel for data logging and documentation
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
