Chemistry Lab Assistant

Job Location - Bhongir, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri (Dist), Telangana

The Chemical Lab Assistant will support day-to-day laboratory operations by preparing chemical solutions, maintaining equipment, and assisting in experimental procedures. The role requires strong technical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to support students and researchers during lab activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Prepare chemical reagents, solutions, and samples following standard procedures and safety guidelines. • Set up experimental apparatus and ensure readiness for lab sessions. • Assist faculty, researchers, or students during experiments and practical classes. • Maintain accurate records of chemicals, consumables, and equipment inventory. • Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety protocols, including chemical storage, labeling, and waste disposal. • Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments as needed. • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and regulatory compliance within the laboratory environment.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of chemical handling, preparation, and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency with laboratory equipment and experimental setups. • Understanding of laboratory safety regulations (PPE, MSDS, waste management). • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to follow instructions and support complex experiments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
  • Prior experience in a chemical or research laboratory preferred. • Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and chemical management.
