We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic L3-Chapter Leader (Hardware Engineer) to lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing, maintaining, and enhancing hardware systems and solutions. As the Chapter Leader, your primary responsibility will be to manage the technical and developmental aspects of hardware engineering projects, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality work by your team. Additionally, you will be instrumental in fostering collaboration and growth within the team while aligning with the overall organizational goals and product objectives. Your key responsibilities will include leading a group of hardware engineers, guiding them through the design, development, testing, and maintenance of hardware systems. It will be crucial for you to provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities to your team members. You will also serve as the subject matter expert in hardware engineering, offering guidance and technical solutions across various hardware projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering innovation. Furthermore, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of hardware engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as software engineers, quality assurance, product managers, and designers, will be essential to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components. Continuous assessment and improvement of hardware development processes, tools, and methodologies will also be part of your role to drive efficiency improvements and encourage the adoption of new technologies. As the Chapter Leader, you will act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, assisting your team in troubleshooting and resolving problems encountered during design, testing, or production. Resource management will also be a key aspect where you will help with resource planning and allocation to ensure that the team has the necessary skills, tools, and support to succeed. Staying updated with the latest hardware engineering trends, technologies, and best practices will be vital to contribute to the strategic direction of the hardware engineering department and lead initiatives for integrating new technologies or enhancing existing products. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role. Expertise in hardware design, circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems is required, along with strong knowledge of hardware testing, simulation tools, and design software. Proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, problem-solving capabilities, adaptability to new technologies, and a collaborative work ethic are also essential. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
