Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and staff.
  • Ensure portion control is followed strictly according to costing standards.
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation before service.
  • Implement and monitor kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
  • Conduct opening and closing checklists for kitchen.
  • Train, guide, and motivate staff to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory usage, avoid wastage, and update stock requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and Service Team for smooth operations.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and reported for service if needed.
  • Prepare daily kitchen reports (production, wastage, stock usage).

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen (supervisory experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team under pressure.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude and commitment to quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
