Job Summary: The Kitchen Staff is responsible for supporting all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation areas are clean and organized, assisting chefs and cooks with meal preparation, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. This role is essential in delivering a smooth, efficient, and sanitary working environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning). Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas. Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times. Receive and store deliveries properly. Dispose of waste and manage recycling according to policies. Help with plating and presentation during service periods. Assist chefs and cooks as needed during busy periods. Stock ingredients and supplies in appropriate areas. Clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans when needed. Perform end-of-day cleaning and kitchen shutdown tasks.
