Key Responsibilities General Kitchen DutiesAssist senior chefs in daily food preparation and cooking activities Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI & kitchen SOPs Ensure proper storage of raw materials (FIFO & FEFO method) Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunction Support in closing and opening kitchen activities Indian / North Indian Section Assist in preparation of gravies, curries, dals, rice items, and breads Help in chopping, marination, masala preparation, and basic cooking Ensure consistency in taste and quality South Indian Section Assist in preparation of batter (idli, dosa, vada, uttapam) Support in cooking dosas, idlis, vadas, and upma Maintain batter quality, fermentation, and temperature control Tandoor Section Assist in marination of kebabs, paneer, chicken, and breads Support in handling tandoor under supervision Ensure proper cooking temperature and safety measures Chaat Section Assist in preparation of chaat items like pani puri, bhel, sev puri, aloo chaat, etc. Maintain hygiene while handling ready-to-eat items Prepare chutneys, fillings, and garnishes Hygiene & Safety Follow personal hygiene standards (uniform, gloves, hair cap) Maintain clean workstations and utensils Comply with food safety and waste management guidelines
