Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team. The role involves assisting chefs and kitchen staff in daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing churro dough, piping, and frying churros as directed by the chef
• Coat freshly made churros with cinnamon sugar and prepare toppings (chocolate dips, sauces, fillings, etc.)
• Support in portioning and assembling dessert items for serving
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
• Wash and organize kitchen tools, crockery, and cutlery
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards strictly
• Receive, store, and organize stock/inventory (flour, sugar, chocolate, packaging, etc.)
• Dispose of waste properly and keep work areas neat
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the kitchen supervisor/chef

Requirements

• Prior experience in a café, dessert shop, or quick-service restaurant is a plus (not mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of handling fried food, desserts, and beverages preferred
• Willingness to learn churro-making process (dough prep, frying, coating, and plating)
• Attention to detail in presentation (toppings, sauces, and plating for churros)
• Good hygiene practices and awareness of food safety standards
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude with teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit to handle kitchen duties
• Age range: 18 - 25 years

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Maradu, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
