Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Officer at ABHFL, your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets through direct channels by focusing on targeted book size, growth, and customer service objectives. The ABHFL Sales organization works with various customer segments, including retail customers, institutional customers, and builders, with a major business share coming from retail customers. Your role will involve providing housing finance solutions to buyers, loan against property, commercial property purchase, lease rental discounting, and construction finance solutions to builders. Key Responsibilities: - Execute sales operations to achieve assigned targets by ensuring an adequate sourcing funnel and considering local factors such as competitor presence, existing relationships, and new prospect opportunities. - Liaise with ground-level client stakeholders for relationship origination and maintenance, focusing on key clients/prospects and escalating cases as required. - Upgrade financial and operational know-how on market/local trends, effective negotiation, relationship building, and efficient loan processing for strengthening customer relationships while ensuring portfolio health and profitability. - Check credit quality through effective portfolio selection/pre-screening and collaborate with the Risk team to minimize potential NPAs while driving efficient sales operations. - Ensure compliant sales operations at all times despite sales pressures and market cycles. Qualifications Required: - Critical skill sets required include commercial acumen, communication, product-market awareness, and execution skills. - Education and experience required for this role are a graduate with 0-2 years of sales experience in the Banking/NBFC space. (3-4 years for Senior Sales Officer).
