**Job Description:** As an Account Manager at John Crane, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior members of CUSTOMER in your region. You will serve as the main point of contact for the assigned account(s) and deploy the global CUSTOMER strategy received from the Global Account Manager (GAM). Your role will involve understanding clients" business objectives, challenges, and requirements to align company solutions accordingly. Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand the scope of services offered to clients will be crucial, along with making technical selections and discussions for Level 1 applications in adherence to internal engineering policies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior members of CUSTOMER - Serve as the main point of contact for assigned account(s) - Deploy and execute the global CUSTOMER strategy from the Global Account Manager - Understand clients" business objectives, challenges, and requirements - Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand services - Make technical selections and discussions for Level 1 applications - Develop Miller Heimann account plans and strategies - Collaborate with peer KAMs to identify and pursue new business opportunities - Conduct regular business reviews with clients - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction - Establish customer success metrics and track KPIs - Anticipate and resolve potential conflicts to maintain strong partnerships **Qualifications:** - Long-lasting experience in Sales and Account Management - Excellent networking capability and communication skills - Industry expert in original equipment manufacturers and associated end user markets - Masters degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent experience - Willingness and physical ability for extensive global business travel **Additional Information:** John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is a global leader in flow control solutions for energy and process industries.
